Roger H. Berk

Roger H. Berk has over 15 years of experience in oil, refined fuels, and global commodity trading. He is the CEO and Senior Trader of The Commodity Traders B.V. (TCT), a private trading firm he co-founded in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. A graduate of The Hague University of Applied Sciences, he is recognized for his strategic execution and international trade expertise.
In 2018, Roger joined the Board of Steencore Group, a metals trading company focused on copper, cobalt, and other strategic metals. In an advisory role, he supports strategic decision-making, banking relationships, and funding structures.
Roger founded TCT in 2009, developing oil and refined product trade flows into the Middle East and Far East. From 2009 to 2012, he managed a USD 1.8 billion trading fund supplying gas, crude oil, and refined products to major Middle Eastern counterparties. He continues to lead TCT as CEO and board member.
In parallel, Roger is the Founder and President of ScreenCheck International, a global provider of ID card and smart card solutions with more than 30 years of operating history. ScreenCheck operates across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East, and expanded its U.S. presence in 2009 through the acquisition of Polaroid’s ID solutions business.
