With over a decade of experience in the ferro and non-ferrous metals markets, Robert van Reijn is a recognized expert in base metals trading. He began his career executing warrants with major LME ring members before specializing in non-ferrous metals. Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dutch Law from VU Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Investments and Securities from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, combining legal, financial, and commercial expertise.
Since 2019, Robert has served as Business Development Executive at Steencore, where he leads the expansion of the company’s client base and market presence across Europe and the U.A.E., developing new supply chains and strategic trading relationships. In parallel, he owns and operates a non-ferrous recycling company, running a granulation plant that converts household cables into A1-grade copper granules supplied to two of Europe’s largest smelters.
Robert’s deep industry knowledge, entrepreneurial experience, and extensive international network are instrumental in driving Steencore’s growth and reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the global metals market.
