Michelle serves as Steencore’s Country Manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), bringing more than 17 years of experience across import and export logistics, customs clearance, and end-to-end supply chain management within complex operating environments. With a strong background as a licensed Clearing Agent, Michelle has deep, practical expertise in navigating DRC trade regulations, border processes, and compliance requirements critical to the mining and metals sector.

Throughout his career, Michelle has held senior roles within mining, logistics, and infrastructure projects, where he developed hands-on experience supporting large-scale mining operations, metal construction works, and site-level logistics execution. His operational knowledge spans transport coordination, customs optimization, infrastructure interfaces, and regulatory risk management in one of the world’s most strategically important mineral jurisdictions.

As Steencore’s senior in-country representative, Michelle is responsible not only for logistics execution but also for stakeholder engagement and operational continuity. He maintains strong relationships with government authorities, customs agencies, port and transport operators, and local partners, ensuring regulatory compliance, supply chain resilience, and uninterrupted trade flows.
