Vendor Qualification Guide

Doing Business with Steencore Group

Structured Engagement. Ethical Standards. Institutional Discipline.

At Steencore Group, integrity, transparency, and disciplined execution underpin every supplier relationship. We operate within global energy and critical mineral markets where regulatory scrutiny, capital exposure, and reputational risk are material considerations.  Suppliers seeking engagement with Steencore are expected to align with these standards from the outset.

Vendor Qualification & Responsible Sourcing

Steencore engages exclusively with verified producers, allocation holders, and strategic supply partners capable of demonstrating legal title, operational capability, and transparent beneficial ownership.

Our sourcing framework is aligned with:

  1. The EU Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA)
  2. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  3. OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains
  4. EU and international AML/CFT and sanctions regimes

Vendors must be able to evidence traceability of origin, environmental permitting compliance, adherence to human rights and labour standards, and robust governance controls. Engagement will not proceed where material ESG, sanctions, or reputational risks remain unresolved.

Due Diligence & Compliance Review

All prospective vendors undergo structured due diligence prior to onboarding. This review includes verification of corporate registration, ultimate beneficial ownership, financial standing, operational legitimacy, insurance coverage, and regulatory compliance.

Registration or submission of documentation does not constitute approval. Vendor status is granted only upon formal compliance clearance and internal validation of allocation authenticity.

Continuous monitoring applies throughout the commercial relationship.

Transaction Governance

Approved vendors must operate within recognized international trade and banking frameworks to ensure contractual clarity, payment security, and delivery integrity. Steencore maintains oversight across the transaction lifecycle to safeguard institutional counterparties, trade finance providers, insurers, and downstream industrial clients.

Institutional Alignment

Steencore’s vendor qualification model is designed to ensure that sourced material remains:

  1. Legally defensible
  2. ESG-aligned and auditable
  3. Traceable and compliant with EU regulatory expectations
  4. Structurally bankable for European financial institutions

We prioritize long-term, compliance-anchored supply partnerships over opportunistic transactions.

Vendors capable of meeting these standards are invited to submit a corporate profile and supporting documentation through our registration channel. Engagement will be considered in line with current procurement strategy and regulatory requirements.
